About the NSABP Web Site

How the NSABP Web Site is Organized

The NSABP web site consists of an area available to all users, and a password-protected area specifically for NSABP member institutions.

The documents on the NSABP Web Site consist mainly of HTML source documents and PDF Acrobat Exchange documents. We routinely use HTML when authoring web site documents. However, there are documents for which we wanted to preserve the format they were originally created in, or lengthy documents. All of these require the Acrobat Reader software in order to be viewed. This software product is available free of charge from Adobe Corporation and can be downloaded from their web site.

In the General Information Area can be found:
  • a section containing general NSABP information such as, an overview of the NSABP's clinical trials, contact numbers for the NSABP's operations and biostatistical centers, dates and locations of future NSABP meetings, and NSABP newsletters
  • a section containing treatment trial information
  • a section containing prevention trial information
  • a bibliography of NSABP publications
  • and a section containing links to other cooperative groups, and government organizations
The NSABP Members' Area contains information intended for the use of the personnel affiliated with the project, such as:
  • treatment and prevention trial news for members only
  • treatment trial information, documents, changes, forms, memos, faxes, recruitment materials, progress reports, etc.
  • prevention trial information, documents, changes, forms, memos, faxes, recruitment materials, progress reports, etc.
