A Protocol to Evaluate the Postoperative Portal Vein Infusion of 5-Fluorouracil and Heparin in the Management of Patients with Resectable Adenocarcinoma of the Colon
Specific Aims
The purpose of this study is to determine whether adjuvant therapy with portal hepatic infusion of 5-FU and heparin is effective in prolonging disease-free survival and increasing survival in patients undergoing curative resection of colonic adenocarcinomas.
