NSABP Clinical Trials Overview Protocol C-06 A Clinical Trial Comparing Oral Uracil/Ftorafur (UFT) Plus Leucovorin (LV) With 5­Fluorouracil (5­FU) Plus LV In The Treatment Of Patients With Stages II And III Carcinoma Of The Colon Specific Aims This study will evaluate the relative efficacy of two postoperative chemotherapy regimens in patients with resected stages II and III carcinoma of the colon: 1) 5­fluorouracil (5­FU) plus high­dose leucovorin (LV) and 2) Uracil/Ftorafur (UFT) plus LV. Patients will be stratified according to number of positive nodes.
